"Born in 1991, all his life lived in Latvia.
He was one of the most popular Latvian bloggers. He ran the YouTube channel “History of Weapons""”and the Telegram channel of the same name, each having half a million subscribers. Before the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, he published analytical videos on political topics there.
According to the materials of the website eadaily.com, in 2019, the blogger was in conflict with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which he accused of “milking”.
When the conflict in Ukraine started, he covered it from a pro-Russian position, which caused dissatisfaction of the Latvian authorities. Initially, he was listed in the database of the Latvian version of the MIROTVORETS website, a public database of people who spoke from pro-Russian positions, called ""propagandists of the Russian world.”
On March 17, 2022, he was detained by the State Security Service of Latvia (Valsts svēršības dienests), or VDD.
On June 21 or 22, in the strictest secrecy, he was released on “bail"", without the right to any contacts with the outside world. Information about the release was leaked only on June 30, when journalist Aleksey Stefanov wrote about it in his telegram.
At the end of February 2023, the case was closed, in exchange for a guilty plea, He was sentenced to pay a fine of 27,280 euros (2.2 million rubles). On March 17, 2023, Fedorov came to Moscow, and posted a video on his Telegram channel about his arrival. On March 20, RT aired his interview with Maria Butina, in which he talked about the torture he was subjected to."
